We're looking for an experienced Team Lead who excels at driving agile processes and fostering team collaboration. You will guide a talented cloud development team, facilitate sprint planning, and ensure successful project delivery through effective scrum ceremonies and stakeholder communication. As a technical advisor across multiple development teams, you'll help align architectural decisions, promote best practices, and facilitate knowledge sharing between groups.
In this role, you'll leverage your leadership skills to remove obstacles, mentor team members, and maintain a healthy agile environment. While deep technical expertise isn't required, you'll need enough technical understanding to guide cross-team technical decisions and help teams overcome technical challenges. What You’ll Do:
- Lead Agile Sprints: Own sprint ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives), keeping teams aligned and on track.
- Hands-On Technical Involvement: Review code, support design decisions, and contribute to development tasks where necessary.
- Facilitate Collaboration: Work across backend, frontend, AI, and product teams to clarify requirements and prioritize work effectively.
- Support the Team: Remove blockers, provide guidance, and champion best practices for efficient delivery.
- Ensure Technical Excellence: Drive adherence to coding standards, testing practices, and quality assurance.
- Strategic & Operational Leadership: Work closely with the Director of Engineering to align team goals with organizational objectives, shape technical roadmaps.
What You’ll Bring:
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success leading Agile teams in a technical environment. Comfortable contributing to the codebase and providing technical mentorship.
- Technical Acumen:
- Experience across various backend technologies and languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
- Working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks and design systems (React, Nextjs, Vue.js).
- Understanding of the AWS ecosystem, and distributed system concepts (Kafka, Spark, or OpenSearch)
- Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD practices. We use Gitlab, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools. We use Datadog
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and workflows.
