As an Information Security Analyst Intern, you will work closely with the Director of Research and Data Analysis and a security consultant to help identify, implement, and monitor measures to mitigate security risks within the company. You will contribute to integrating security processes into the organization’s workflows and assist in risk analysis, recommending solutions, and implementing controls and best practices to ensure the protection of informational assets.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in security and data governance within a cutting-edge tech company, while collaborating with experts to improve the company’s security posture.

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in the analysis and evaluation of security risks related to systems and data.
• Apply your knowledge to make recommendations on system and data security.
• Contribute to defining and implementing protection measures and security controls.
• Assist in documenting information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Participate in security incident analysis and propose corrective measures.
• Collaborate with various departments to raise awareness and train employees on security issues.
• Support the team in implementing and tracking information security performance indicators.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security risk management processes and tools.

What We’re Looking for in Our Ideal Candidate

• Student in Business Administration or another relevant field
• Completed at least one course on Information Security (SIO course code)
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Curiosity and resourcefulness
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
